About Me
Georgia, where I retired, holds a special place in my heart as it's where I met my husband in 2010. We're now the proud parents of four energetic and delightful children. Transitioning from a Chief Warrant Officer Three to a civilian has opened a new chapter for me, one where I'm eager to immerse myself in local community affairs and contribute to the well-being of our neighborhood and beyond.
As I step into the political arena, my mission is clear: to advocate for the future rights and opportunities of our children and communities. My life's journey, marked by service, family, and a commitment to bettering the lives of those around me, fuels my dedication to this cause. I am here to listen, to lead, and to work tirelessly for a brighter, more equitable future for all.
I'm Heather Rose White, born in Washington state and raised under the warm Florida sun. My childhood was enriched by the close bonds of a large family, with most of my aunts and uncles nearby. This strong family foundation, coupled with frequent visits to relatives in Washington, instilled in me a deep appreciation for community and kinship.
From an early age, my inclination towards service became evident. Throughout my teenage years, I dedicated my time to volunteering with emergency services. In this capacity, I not only orchestrated and executed search and rescue training for individuals of all ages but actively participated in search and rescue missions, assuming leadership roles. This early immersion in leadership and community service formed the bedrock of my enduring commitment to public service.
In 2002, my desire to serve took a definitive shape as I joined the Army. Over the next two decades, my career in the military was both dynamic and rewarding. I had the honor of serving our nation both at home and abroad, including five deployments that totaled over four years. My military journey was complemented by academic pursuits, earning an Associate's degree in Intelligence Operations and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management. These experiences have equipped me with invaluable skills in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational efficiency.
